Painted Acorns

100_5955

This is the easiest craft ever and so cute!!

100_5957

Acorns painted with enamel acrylic paint…the paint is really easy to work with and it is very thick.

The lighter colors require several coats.

Don’t the blue and green acorns look so cute in my newest cloche?

100_5958

I mixed several colors together to get shades of blues and greens, two shakes of purple and a darker orange.

Once the paint was dry, I glued them back into their little acorn caps.

Very easy and quite showy!

I am linking to these great parties!

Such a cute idea! Now I'm kicking myself for not collecting acorns from our old house. Time to go wild scouting, I think.

What a simple craft! I'm sure these would be a great vase filler too, with a candle maybe? Hmm, nice idea!

Completely Inspired! I tried spray painting some acorns a few weeks ago and the little buggers kept rolling around making a mess! What a GREAT idea to use acrylic and a brush. Yours are just amazing. LOVE!!!
